Staff Col Dr. Aysha Al Dhaheri

Staff Col Dr Aysha Sultan Al Dhaheri, Commander of the joint medical evacuation at Zayed Military Hospital, continues to use her medical expertise for humanitarian and relief missions.

Dr. Al Dhaheri has participated and volunteered in several official relief missions, in some of world’s most conflict-ridden areas.

Dr. Al Dhaheri has led female medical teams as well as participated in relief missions in Kosovo and Afghanistan, providing emergency medical services to the sick and wounded, and indispensable healthcare examinations to the broader communities there. She also undertook missions in Yemen and Eretria, delivering healthcare and humanitarian assistance to the Yemeni refugees and the local Eritrean people in the wartorn areas.

Dr. Al Dhaheri’s role in the Operation Restoring Hope in Yemen has been significant, volunteering to help ensure the success of this operation.
