Hamad Hazaa Al Darmaki

Hamad Al Darmaki was one of the first hearing impaired to graduate overseas with a Diploma in Information Technology. Hamad set up a football team in Al Ain for disabled children and teenagers to meet and share their love of football. He then enrolled them into local tournaments as a means to introduce them to the society and befriend “normal” children to boost their confidence and self-esteem. This also helped break stereotypes and misunderstandings the society had about the disabled.
